A whole-house wooden machiya on a quiet lane in Kadowakicho, Higashiyama, within walking distance of Kiyomizu-dera and the temples of the eastern hills. The house is let in its entirety for two guests, with one bedroom and one bed, two bathrooms, and a kitchen fitted with an induction stove, refrigerator, microwave, and a stainless single oven. A Nespresso machine and toaster are provided, and there is a dedicated workspace served by Wi-Fi. The living area has an HDTV and a Bose sound system, with central heating and air conditioning throughout, a washer and free dryer for longer stays, and a private patio off a fully fenced backyard. Pets are welcome. The house operates as a simple lodging under the Ryokan Business Act (Kyoto City registration 京都市指令保医セ第14号).
